"A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities...

Which comes first... the great attitude or success? A skeptic would surmise that of course people with money and opportunities have a great attitude. That's like saying that only muscular and fit people go to the gym. You aren't born into achievement — it takes work. And a great attitude gets you there that much faster. The late Earl Nightingale helps brighten your attitude.

sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before the change." Earl Nightingale

Great quote Mike!! :) People do nothing but criticize & complain when things don't go the way they wanted! They don't realize that if they changed their attitude then things around them would get better! + if u have a positive attitude towards life in general, u can enjoy things a whole lot more than if ur grumpy & miserable! :)

I think that we not only need a great attitude to others but also need it to yourself and the job you´re doing! But when you have a great attitude you get so much back from others, like kindness, a nice smile, plainly good treatment!

You could write an entire thesis paper on this phenomenon. I do believe we make our own success in this world and yet I believe some are born with the silver spoon in their mouth. When it is there from birth it is easier to succeed. You just have more benefits.

It takes belief, vision, planning, and serious action to win, succeed, and find happiness if you are not born with benefits. In America this comes with perseverance and sometimes great sacrifice. Most do not have the staying power or the ability to sacrifice what needs to be sacrificed.
